Mr. David Williams is Glendale Prep’s inaugural Head of School. Mr. Williams has completed all required coursework for a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Dallas. He holds three Masters Degrees, in Theological Studies, Liberal Arts, and History, from the John Paul II Pontifical Institute, St. John’s College, and the University of Notre Dame, respectively, as well as a B.A. in History from Fairfield University in Connecticut. He has also pursued substantial summer studies in literature, history, political and economic systems at the Dallas Institute for Humanities and Culture, Oxford University, and Georgetown University

His teaching experience includes tenures as an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas, and as a high school humanities teacher at Union High School in New Jersey. His passion for the humanities is evident not only in his own education and professional development, but also in the initiative he has demonstrated in designing and founding interdisciplinary courses, Great Books discussion clubs, and Philosophy tutorials, thus furthering future generations appreciation for great thought. In recognition of his professional achievement, the New Jersey chapter of the National Endowment for the Humanities named Mr. Williams New Jersey Teacher of the Year, and the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly passed a joint legislative resolution acclaiming his excellence in teaching.
